Count Your Blessing

When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed, When you are discouraged thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord has done. Count your blessings name them one by one; count your blessings, see what God hath done.

This great hymn was written by Edwin O Excell in 1897 it is said to be is first hymn he wrote. He took it from Ephesians 1:3 God has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

When I was singing this song today, I stoped and wonder why don't I count my blessing that I get from God each day. It has always been a goal of mine to be more grateful and what a better way then to count my blessing naming them one by one.

• talking on the phone
