Saved $46 dollars!!!!

Week three of using coupons is off to a great start. Over the weekend I went to one of Jill Cataldo http://www.jillcataldo.com/work shops on super-couponing and learned a lot of great things. I can't wait to be able to use all this great knowledge to save my family money. My goal for the month of February is to save $200 with coupons. This is my shopping trip today and I will tell you how I did it.

This week a Wal-greens they have a great deal on puffs Kleenex. On the back page of their weekly flyer is a store coupon for three boxes paying 89 cents each!!! What a great deal so my grand total was $2.89

In the Sunday newspaper they had two coupons for PetsMart. One was a buy one get one free on the Beggin Strips and another one for a FREE bag of cat food. I had a nice surprise once I got to the store because the beggin strips were on sale for $2.50 instead of $4 dollars. My grand total was $4.20 I had to pay tax on all of it, free or not free. Over all I saved $14.50

Dominicks was not that great of a deal today but I did save money. The store had a coupon for the Quilted Northern at $5.99 then I had a $1 dollar off making it $4.99 for a 12 pack TP. I got the same deal on both of them. Milk on sale for $1.99 and the pop tarts on a store prom 2 for $5 Last was the Cheerios I used a $1 off coupon. My total was $22.73. My saving was $9.98

My great deal of the day!! Jewel has a sale going on with cereal and breakfast bars. Buy five then each box will be $1.39. I had a coupon for each box I bought. The skippy I had a store copon that if you bought two you only paid a $1 per jar and on top of that I had a coupon. Same went with the sampoo. They also have the same deal buy two only pay a dollar on Wish Bone dressing and Ragu but they were all out by the time I got there. So I was able to get a rain check which is good for a month. My total was $8.12 I saved $22.45
