This week Mackenzie best friend cut her hair and donated it to Locks of love. Once Mackenzie saw her friend and learned what she done, she had lots of questions for Mommy and Daddy. We answered as best we could all of her questions and left it at that. The subject didn't come up again until this afternoon. Mackenzie came home from school and asked if she could donate her hair to a child that was sick and needed it alot more than she did. What could I say but YES ( I am going to miss her long hair) lets get get our shoes on and go.The ladies at the salon were so nice to Mackenzie making over her and telling her how pretty she was and what a big girl she was being. I almost wish I would have video taped it also. Mackenzie was all smiles the whole time. I am very proud and humble to have a daughter that would want to give her hair away to another to help them out.
