Mommy got to stay home!

I had the day off work today because I have to work super bowl sunday getting ready for inventory on Monday. Yes monday is my 26th birthday and man do I feel old, beause I am now closer to 30 then I am the teens and, well, that just hurts - but anyway. The first pictures are of Brandon and Mackenzie playing in mommy and daddy's room while mommy was trying to watch Oprah since I never get to. Half way through Mackenzie started to wrestle with Brandon and at first he was ok with it but has time went on he just got mad and left. I went to see where he was going and he went right for his truck and started playing with that. I need to get a video of Brandon running around the kitchen table playing with his truck. It is soooo funning beacuse he will start running around and around the table just laughing and talking up a storm.
Soon after that it was luch time. Both of them love to have lunch meat and cheese. Sometimes Mackenzie will ask for a pb&j, but not often. It was fun just sitting and getting to talk with both of them. Our conversation was very funning seeing that I was talking to a two and three year old, but none the less fun. After lunch came naptime (my favorite time). Both of the kids go down without a fight. Then once they are in bed I take a nap too.
When I woke up an hour later I was very surprised to find that it had started to snow and snow alot. Come to find out that Chicago is under a winter storm warning, getting anywhere from 6 to 12 inches of snow. Once Mackenzie got up and saw the snow she was all excited and asked if we could go play. She was none to happy with my answer of no. So trying to stop the tears that were coming I was nice and said that she could put a movie on, amazingly the tears stop as Cars started.
